Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming"Woo Hoo, What a Ride !!!"
Since I was very young, I have had a passion for sports cars, motorcycles and boats. The very first car I got was a 1964 Triumph TR4. I think I paid $800.00 for it, which I borrowed from my parents. I loved that car, and it made me feel I was somebody. It kept me poor, but I loved it just the same. When I had it, I was in high school, and driving it during lunch, made me feel like I was so cool. LOL! Good times! In my last year of high school, I had a very bad motorcycle accident. I was on my way home from work and a woman ran a stop sign. She T-boned me, and I went sailing down the road. I landed on my head, I was wearing a helmet, but I sustained serious head injuries, concussion, coma, and brain damage. (explains a lot, LOL) My left hand was injured and my left knee also. After the court case wound down, I bought a motorcycle. It was a '72 Yamaha DT2 dirt bike. I learned a lot about bike riding with this bike, and kept it for several years.
